The Fire of Life

This photo was originally made to be the logo for my bladesmithing shop, but I felt like it belonged here. I’ve been making huge efforts to admit my sexuality to the people around me who still don’t know, and that’s difficult, for the fear of being bullied or harassed is just as bad in many cases. It can drive people to such levels of depression and anger that they alienate the ones they originally sought love and acceptance from.
As much as we need to make efforts to stop bullying, oftentimes, the one who hurts someone the most is their self.

Please, if you’re going to comment, leave the religious banter out of it, this is an occasion to help stop people from being bullied for their sexuality, but bashing religion and the people behind the intolerance makes you no better. They have their opinion as well, and as wrong as we think it is, it makes us just as bad to try to shove the opinions we think are better back on to them.
