Longsword

My pride and joy. 2' 8" blade with 10" of useable hilt length. Made from 1090 high carbon bar stock, the crossguard and pommel are made from wrought iron, the hilt is an aged white oak, then stained and sanded to bring out the grain, sealed with boiled Linseed oil. The pommel was chemically aged with a blowtorch with mild acid, then detailed with a dremel tool to give a swirling effect
